Yo! I was scrolling through Pinterest and I found these really cool words. I'm going to post a picture with the link to the pin and create a sentence with that word. I know this sounds like an English assignment, but read on if you trust me. If you don't, well, your loss.
GLOSSARY WORDS:
Fudgel
Notes: Exists only in the 18th century.
Meaning: Pretending to work while actually doing nothing.
Sentence: As soon as our teacher entered the class, I started to fudgel away like there was no tomorrow.
Sentence notes: Since this word doesn't exist in the modern world, there is no right or wrong way to use this. Proof? My computer has underlined it with red.
Shivviness
Meaning: The uncomfortable feeling of wearing new underwear.
Sentence: The shivviness was too much for me to bear right now, so I drank a gallon of ice coffee and got diarrhea.
Sentence notes: The sentence makes no sense. I know. But I just poop out weird stuff cuz I'm weird. Read the 'Everyday Things' section and you'll know. Also, apparently this word doesn't exist either and is underlined by a red line.
Groke
Meaning: Someone who stares at you hoping you'll share your food.
Sentence: Every single lunchtime, my friends and I groke at each other.
Sentence notes: Best part? It's true. Every single lunchtime. I have no idea why. I think I'm the one who grokes the most. Also, stupid red line.
Crapulous
Meaning: Feeling ill as a result of eating too much food.
Sentence: I always feel crapulous whenever I visit my grandparent's house, so much that I turn into Violet Beauregarde.
Sentence notes: No red line this time. And I'm pretty sure that most of you can relate to this.
Trumpery
Meaning: Things that look good but are basically worthless.
Sentence: I am a Trumpery.
Sentence notes: I am. I think I look good cuz I'm trying to be positive, but I think I'm worthless cuz I'm a Gen Z.
Podsnappery
Meaning: A refusal to recognize unpleasant facts.
Sentence: Why is there always that once character who is extremely indulged in podsnappery.
Sentence notes: I swear! There is always that one character in a book or movie or the main character. Like, they refuse to admit that life has good and bad. Also, this word apparently doesn't exist either.
Hum Durgeon
Meaning: An imaginary illness.
Sentence: I have never developed a Hum Durgeon to escape school before.
Sentence notes: It's true. My goody-two-shoesness prevents me. And why don't most of these words exist? It's atrocious!
