In this post, I will relay what happened on the last two days of Term 3 and a visit to Coles.
Firstly, what happened in Coles. I was feeling a bit happy that day, I don't remember why, but I was in a playful and good mood. We had run out of supplies (meaning junk food and bread), so I went to Coles with my dad. I was a bit bored because we were just roaming around, looking at stuff. I usually make a commentary to myself when I'm bored, I realized that my commentary was actually spoken out loud and reached a couple ears. I was told to look for Hershey's and Coles had been rearranged, so I was trying to find the Hershey's syrup. I accidently said, "Where is the Hershey's? I can't find the Hershey's. Hershey's is invisible. Hershey's stole Harry Potter's invisibility cloak." It isn't even that funny, but I guess my voice was malfunctioning because it came out in a really weird tone. AND THIS WOMAN NEARBY, HEARD ME AND SNORTED SO FREAKING LOUD THAT I NEARLY CALLED 911. I was really embarrassed but I thought, "You know what? I'm in a good mood and I want to have fun." So I proceeded to:
Tell Bref (toilet cleaner) that we were late for a funeral
Run with a bottle of ice coffee like an Olympian torch
Do a penguin dance to a song
Say, "Scan the thinly cut piece of dead flesh." when my dad was scanning the paper gift card
Say "BYE!" and wave to a computer
The best part? Everyone heard and saw me. I bet I'll be one of those ice-breaker topics at dinner or something like, "Hey, this reminds me of the time I was getting chicken and this person, told Bref, you know the toilet cleaner, that they were late to a funeral. Wow, she has no sympathy for dead pet fish, does she?"
And a couple days later, Sports Day arrived. Sports Day was on the second last day of the term, so it was pretty hectic. I missed out on buying a decent lunch with my money in the morning. My friends wanted to go to the toilet and put on makeup or whatever, and I had to wait for them. Before you ask me why I couldn't have gone by myself, it is because I had a sus old man following me so I called Anushaa in order not to be kidnapped. The only halal food I can have in the canteen is pizza which isn't even pizza. It's dough with random vegetables and cheese on top. Sorry.
Anyways, we went off to assembly to the oval. I couldn't hear a single thing the teacher was saying. Maybe it was because something happened to the speakers, or the cars zooming through the road were too loud, or I was just deaf. Whatever it was, it doesn't matter cuz I fell asleep (I'm sleep-deprived and paranoid, okay? And the ice coffee might still have had lasting effects).
The rest of the day passed with me reading a book (Little Women), trying to find decent food in the canteen, calling my friends, eating chips and wandering around the school.
Okay, I wasn't completely alone. Gurman and I talked for a bit. I hung out with Kinza and Sofia a lot too. And Fatima called me over to spend a bit of time with a few other people I know.
After like, 3 hours, the sports which I could participate in started. For the speed ball throw, I got 42. 42 what? I don't know. The teacher didn't say (42 apples? Oranges? Dinosaurs?). For the accuracy ball throw, I got 1 or 2 points because my sleep-deprived and nearly caffeine addicted butt is horrible at accuracy and aim. For the AFL hand throw, I got... one. Single. Point. *Crowd starts screaming and cheering, going wild and ripping everything to shreds*.
I had actually signed up for 3 sports: Tug of war (the only thing I was happy about), Tunnel ball and Balloon relay. In tug of war, we lost...
the first round.
BUT WE WON THE SECOND! I ACTUALLY FELT HAPPY ABOUT IT!. We, the blue team, came second in that one. If you want tips, I would say use your whole weight, even if it means that your butt nearly touches the ground or that you are being pulled along with them. Also, keep the experience and strength from snatching stuff from your siblings handy. If you use your whole weight, strength, force and Jedi powers, the you might just win, as long as the other team members do it as well.
In tunnel ball, we came third and in balloon relay we came first. YOOOOOOOOOO! This is the first actual time that I (not just me alone, my team was there too) won first place in sports!. *Screams in your ear*. I got a blue ribbon, oh yeah, oh yeah.
One teeny tiny itty bitty little detail: My so called "friends" weren't there to watch. But I had Rebecca and a few other friends' hands to hi-five (*cough cough* no one cares about Corona).
The next day, was the last day of school. I talked to the people I call 'friends', they apologized and we planned to hang out at each other's places. So I guess that's good... I guess.
ANYWAYS, that's it. Have a nice day, and don't forget to just have fun no matter where you are and use your whole weight to win a tug of war.
Haha, loved reading this. ISTG this is me in shops. Monologuing, doing plays with the kitchenware. Sometimes my own intelligence astounds me.
